Our prediction for this Coupe de la Ligue match:
Parc des Princes will host the Coupe de la Ligue clash between PSG and Saint-Etienne, the two teams who defeated Linas-Montihery (6-0) and Bastia-Borgo (3-0) respectively in the Coupe de France at the weekend. Les Parisiens are after their eighth consecutive win in all competitions, but they can’t afford any complacency in Wednesday’s football game.
Superstars Neymar and Mbappe were rested in the French Cup clash at the weekend, but the duo is likely to start against les Verts. Considering that PSG are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we predict that Thomas Tuchel’s troops are going to advance to the Coupe de la Ligue semis without any difficulties. Les Verts are not regarded as good travellers, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on the star-studded capital club. In their last meeting in the City of Lights, PSG crushed Saint-Etienne 4-0.
