Madagascar
D.R. Congo and Madagascar go head to head on neutral location (Rabat) in the 2022 World Cup qualifier. D.R. Congo head into the match following back-to-back draws with Tanzania and Benin, and, no doubt, they will give 100% to record their first win of the process. As always, a man to watch in the home team will be experienced attacker Dieumerci Mbokani, who found the net in the 1-1 draw with Benin, while in-form Brentford attacker Yoane Wissa, who scored a late winner at West Ham at the weekend.
Madagascar, on the other hand, made a slow start to their World Cup qualifying campaign, with the team losing to both Benin and Tanzania in the previous two league fixtures. The Barea are low on spirits ahead of the trip to Rabat, and seeing that the Leopards are desperate to record their first win of the process, the visitors are likely to return home empty-handed.

Christian Luyindama is a Congolese footballer who plays for Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig. Luyindama played for the likes of DCMP and Sanga Balende before starting his senior career at TP Mazembe.
The DR Congo international then moved to Belgian side Standard Liege, scoring 8 goals in 58 appearances for the club in the national championship. In 2019 he decided to take a step forward in his career as he signed a loan deal with Galatasaray. Luyindama, who was born in Kinshasa on January 8, 1994, eventually signed a permanent deal with the Turkish outfit.
Speaking of his international career, the 191-cm tall centre-back made his Congo DR debut in a 2-0 win over Botswana on June 5, 2017. Christian Luyindama represented his country at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, making three appearances for the Leopards at the showpiece tournament in Egypt.

Nicknamed the Barea, Madagascar are the African national team that affiliates to CAF (Confederation of African Football). Madagascar made their debut on the international stage in 1947, with the team suffering a 2-1 loss to Mauritius in front of home fans.
The Barea wear green shirts and green shorts when playing at home, whilst their away colours are red and white. Madagascar have never participate at the FIFA World Cup finals, but in 2019 they qualified for their first ever Africa Cup of Nations.
The Barea were grouped with the likes of Nigeria, Burundi and Guinea, with the team making their debut at the tournament against the National Elephants. Speaking of Madagascar’s titles, the Barea did well to win two Indian Ocean Island Games (1990, 1993), with the team beating the likes of Mauritius and Reunion in the title games respectively. Madagascar are affiliated to both CAF (confederation) and COSAFA (sub-confederation).
