Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Sevilla and Roma face each other at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in what is expected to be a very exciting game. Los Sevillanos set up a meeting with Giallorossi by beating Cluj, but the team’s performance in the double-header against the Romanian outfit was anything but good. Julen Lopetegui’s troops aim to put an end to their three-game winless run in the Europa League, but beating Roma is easier said than done.
The Giallorossi, on the other hand, eliminated Belgian side Gent in the last 32, with the team extending their unbeaten run in the Europa League to eight games. Even though Roma are not regarded as good travellers, we predict that they are going to find the net in the first leg, as Sevilla have not been impressive at the back of late. A lively contest is on the horizon in Andalusia, and we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score.
This game is postponed.
Highlighted Player (Nolito):
Widely known as Nolito, Manuel Agudo Durán is a Spanish forward born on 15 October 1986 in Sanlucar de Barrameda, who has had an unconventional path to stardom. The highly rated footballer did not go through Barcelona’s famous La Masia youth academy, but he rather joined the B side in 2008 and went on to show a great deal of potential.
Nolito also made a couple of performances for the senior side, but ultimately left for Benfica in an attempt to secure regular playing time. That proved an excellent decision as the winger produced some scintillating showings at Estadio da Luz, and following a loan spell with Granada, he returned to La Liga to sign for Celta Vigo. During his time at Balaidos, Nolito developed into one of league’s leading footballers, usually playing on the left wing and wreaking havoc after cutting inside.
The experienced footballer scored almost 40 league goals in first 100 appearances for the Sky Blues, while also breaking into the Spain national team, and despite making his La Furia Roja debut at the age of 28, he quickly became an important player for the side.
Highlighted Team (AS Roma):
AS Roma is a professional football club based in Rome. Roma were founded by a merger in 1927 and they play in the Italian Serie A. Roma’s fiercest rivals are Lazio and it has to be noted that both capital clubs play their home games at Stadio Olimpico. The two local rivals face each other in the Derby della Capitale, which is considered one of the most exciting derbies in the world of football.
The Giallorossi (The Yellow and Reds) have won three Serie A titles (1941/1942, 1982/1983, 2000/2001), while winning nine Coppa Italia trophies. The colour of Roma’s shirts is imperial purple with a golden yellow trim. A number of top-class footballers were part of Roma in the past, but Francesco Totti is undisputedly the club’s biggest legend. The Prince of Rom made his 601 appearances for Roma on 14 May, 2016 when the Giallorossi recorded a 3-1 win over Milan at Stadio San Siro.
