Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Thanks to two late goals Valencia recorded a 3-1 win over Villarreal at Estadio de la Ceramica in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-finals. Los Che proved their worth in the first leg, but they will surely stick to their attacking style of play in Thursday’s football match. It is well known that Valencia are a real force to be reckoned with at home and the fact that they recorded a win in each of their previous seven home games in the Europa League is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Villarreal.
The Yellow Submarine have slim chances of booking their place in the semis of the second best European competition, but hope dies last. Santi Cazorla and Co. are likely to go all guns blazing at los Che on Thursday evening and we believe that fans will see a real football festival at Estadio de Mestalla.
Predicted line up: Valencia
Playing style: Conservative
Neto; Roncaglia, Garay, Gabriel, Lato; Torres, Parejo, Wass, Guedes; Gameiro, Mina
Predicted line up: Villarreal
Playing style: Focus on counter attack
Fernandez; Gaspar, Ruiz, Funes Mori, Quintilla; Caseres, Cazorla; Chukwueze, Fornals, Toko Ekambi; Moreno
