Our prediction for this FA Cup match:
Birmingham City and Blackburn Rovers, the two Championship sides, take on each other at St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium in the third round of the FA Cup. The Blues experienced all sorts of problems at the back in their last game in 2019, with the team losing to Leeds United 5-4 in front of home fans. Birmingham City do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of the visit of Blackburn Rovers, but Josep Clotet Ruiz’s troops should not be written off just yet.
The Riversiders, on the other hand, are sitting in the middle of the Championship table at the moment. With only seven points separating the two teams in the standings, a close encounter is on the cards at St. Andrew’s Stadium, and we are tempted to put our money on draw. In their last meeting in the Championship the two teams played out a 1-1 draw.
