Our prediction for this FA Cup match:
Manchester City have slim chances of winning the Premier League trophy, but they are surely capable of going all the way in the FA Cup. The reigning champions are seen as hot favourites to win Sunday’s football game against Fulham, and we predict that in-form attacker Kun Aguero is going to prove a handful for the opposition defenders. Pep Guardiola’s troops are a real force to be reckoned with at home, and they should not find it hard to advance to the last 16 of the FA Cup.
The Cottagers, on the other hand, are without key attacker Aleksandar Mitrovic, who will be sorely missed in the Etihad Stadium clash. Since Fulham are not regarded as good travellers, they are unlikely to claim a major scalp in round 4 of the prestigious cup competition. In their last meeting in a competitive match the Citizens defeated the Cottagers 2-0.
Highlighted Player (Sergio Aguero):
Sergio Aguero was born on 2 June, 1988 in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina. Sergio’s nickname is Kun and he used to play for Independiente and Atletico Madrid in the past. The Manchester City attacker has won two Premier League trophies with the Etihad Stadium outfit (2011/2012, 2013/2014) and he played in the Champions League semi-final with the Citizens in the 2015/2016 season. However, Real Madrid proved to be a big catch for Kun Aguero and his teammates in the semis of the elite competition.
The Argentine forward won the Olympic Gold Medal with the national team in 2008, while lifting the FIFA U-20 World Cup trophy on two occasions (2005, 2007). Aguero scored 24 goals in the 2015-16 Premier League campaign, but that did not help Manuel Pellegrini’s troops win the national championship.
Kun was married to Diego Maradona’s daughter Gianinna, but the couple separated in 2012. Giannina gave birth to their son Benjamin in 2009.
Highlighted Team (Fulham):
Fulham are a club from London that play in the Premier League. The capital club dropped to the English second tier at the end of the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign after failing to impress in the elite competition, but managed to return in season 2018/2019.
Fulham were founded in 1879 and they play their home matches at Craven Cottage. Fulham are the oldest-established club from the English capital to have played in the top flight.
Fulham finished the 2008/2009 Premier League campaign in seventh place in the standings and that is considered the team’s biggest success, speaking of their participation in the Premier League.
The Cottagers played in the Europa League twice and they did well to reach the FA Cup final in 1975, but they were beaten by their local rivals West Ham United in the title game (0-2). Chelsea are regarded as Fulham’s bitter rivals as well and the two teams take on each other in the North London derby.
