Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Fleetwood Town and Milton Keynes Dons, who were beaten by Coventry City and Milton Keynes Dons respectively in midweek, face each other at Highbury Stadium in what is expected to be a close encounter. The Fishermen aim to regain their spot in top five in the League One table and you should bear in mind that they are eyeing their sixth home win of the season.
A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Paddy Madden, who scored a hat-trick in a 4-1 win over Burton Albion earlier this month. The Dons, on the other hand, are on a seven-game winless run in the English second tier and seeing that they failed to find the net in previous four league fixtures, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Fleetwood Town’s party in Lancashire.
Highlighted Player (Josh Morris):
Josh Morris is a product of Blackburn Rovers football school who plays for Fleetwood Town in the League One. Morris’ main position is left midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both left-back and central midfielder as well.
The English footballer started his senior career at Blackburn Rovers and he played for the likes of Yeovil Town, Rotherham United, Carlisle United and Fleetwood Town on loan before moving to Bradford City in the summer of 2015. Josh Morris, though, found his best form at Scunthorpe United, scoring 35 goals in 107 appearances for the club in the league.
Before the start of the 2018/2019 League One season Morris re-joined Fleetwood Town, signing a two-year contract with the Fishermen. Josh Morris scored his first goal of the season in a 3-1 win over Peterborough United at Weston Homes Stadium. His contract with Fleetwood Town should expire on June 30, 2021.
Highlighted Team (MK Dons):
Based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes Dons are a League One club that welcome their rivals at Stadium MK. The venue was opened in 2007 and can hold up to 30,500 spectators. Milton Keynes Dons play their home games in white shirts and white shorts, whilst their away kit is red.
The Dons are one of the youngest clubs in England as they were founded in 2004, but they are well known for youth development. English attacker is the club’s all-time top goal-scorer, netting 62 goals in 165 appearances for MK Dons. Dele Alli, who currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur, is the most famous footballer to have played for the Milton Keynes Dons, netting 18 goals in 62 appearances for the club in the league.
Speaking of notable coaches, it has to be noted that former Liverpool superstar Robbie Fowler and ex German international Dietmar Hamman were in charge of the club.
