Our prediction for this League 1 match:
There will be fireworks when Ipswich Town and Hull City face each other in the League One derby at Portman Road. The Tractor Boys did well to beat Shrewbury 2-1 at home on Matchday 13, with the team keeping their 100% record on home soil intact. Ipswich Town aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, but they will have a big fish to fry in the midweek clash against the fellow promotion-chasing side.
Midfielder Jon Nolan, who suffered a groin injury against the Shrews, is unlikely to feature against the Tigers. The likes of James Wilson, Teddy Bishop, Gwion Edwards, and Oli Hawkins are likely to miss the game as well. Hull City are eyeing their sixth consecutive win in all competitions, and given the number of absentees in the home team, we believe that the visitors are going to put an end to Ipswich’s impressive winning run at Portman Road.
Highlighted Player (Tomas Holy):

Born in the town of Rychnov nad Kneznou, Czechoslovakia, Tomas Holy is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a Goalkeeper for Ipswich Town in League One. The 27-year-old was born on the 10th of December, 1991, and joined FC Hradec Kralove's youth academy in 2006. After spending four years with them, he signed for Sparta Prague and started playing for its B team.
His first professional appearance for AC Sparta Prague B came on the 11th of June, 2011, in a 1-2 home loss against FK Varnsdorf. He went on to ply his trade-in Czech football for the next six years before moving to Gillingham in England on the 20th of January, 2017, on a two and a half year contract. Gillingham's manager praised the 2.06m tall goalkeeper's "large presence" and "ball-kicking ability," stating them as reasons behind his recruitment. In his time at Gillingham, Holy made 107 appearances and kept 25 clean sheets in all competitions.
On the 24th of May, 2019, Holy joined Ipswich on a free transfer and made an immediate impact. He kept six clean sheets in his first ten league games for Ipswich, including a run of five consecutive clean sheets, a club record. Internationally, Holy has capped at the under-16, under-17, and under-18 level for his country but is yet to receive a call up for the first team.
Highlighted Team (Hull City):

Hull City are a professional football club that was founded back in 1904. The Tigers used to play their home games at Boothferry Park, but they moved to the KC Stadium in 2002. The stadium capacity is 24,450.
Hull impressed in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign and, as a result, they returned to the English Premier League. Hull City fans consider Leeds United their main rivals, but Sheffield United are regarded as Hull’s fierce rivals as well. Steve Bruce took over the reins at the club in 2012 and the experienced tactician helped the team book a place in the 2013/2014 FA Cup final, but Arsenal proved to be a big catch for the Tigers in the title decider.
Hull City finished the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign in 16th place in the standings to achieve their highest ever top flight finish. It has to be noted that Curtis Davies was named the team’s player of the year in the 2013/2014 season.
