Our prediction for this League 1 match:
All eyes will be on Fratton Park when Portsmouth and Peterborough go head to head in the League One derby. The Pompey aim to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Blackpool, and it has to be noted that they are eyeing their fourth home win of the season. This game comes too early for attacking midfielder Jacobs, who is likely to return to contention next week. The Posh, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 2-1 loss to AFC Wimbledon on Wednesday evening.
Peterborough aim to regain their spot in top two, but keep in mind that important winger Joe Ward is going to miss the Portsmouth game with injury. In their last meeting in the League One Peterborough defeated Portsmouth 2-0, and we predict that the Pompey are going to get their revenge on the Posh on Saturday afternoon.
