Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Prenton Park will host Saturday’s football match between Tranmere Rovers and Accrington Stanley, the two teams who sit in the danger zone in the League One standings ahead of Matchday 20. Tranmere Rovers aim to build on a routine 5-1 FA Cup win over Chichester City, but the game against Accrington will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts.
The Super Whites suffered back-to-back defeats to the likes of Wycombe and Fleetwood in the last two league fixtures, meaning that they would be happy with one point from the Prenton Park clash. The Accy, on the other hand, rolled over Bolton Wanderers 7-1 in their last league fixture, which is yet another reason why we predict that the visitors are going to grab something from Saturday’s game. Anyhow, we believe that punters can find value in betting on draw.
