Our prediction for this MLS match:
Inter Miami and Cincinnati, the two clubs who have recently joined Major League Soccer, face each other at Inter Miami CF Stadium on Sunday evening. Inter Miami continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, and they are surely capable of making life difficult for Cincinnati at home ground. As always, all eyes will be on European stars Matuidi and Higuain when the two teams square off against each other in the Miami metropolitan area.
Cincinnati, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, with the team losing each of their previous four league fixtures. Considering that Inter Miami are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed. This will be their first ever meeting in the Major League Soccer.
Highlighted Player (Wil Trapp):
Wil Trapp is an American footballer who plays for Columbus Crew in MLS as a midfielder. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Trapp played for Akron Zips during his college career and in 2013 he returned to his hometown club Columbus Crew. Over the years the 173-cm tall footballer has established himself as a first-team regular and thanks to his thrilling performances in the Major League Soccer, he earned a place in the USA national team.
Wil Trapp made his USA debut on January 28, 2015 in a 3-2 loss to Chile. The Columbus man did well to wear captain’s armband in a friendly game against Bosnia and Herzegovina in January, 2018. Speaking of his club success, Trapp made it to the Eastern Conference play-offs with Columbus in 2015. His main position is defensive midfielder, but he is used as a centre midfielder as well.
The American footballer graduated from Lincoln High School where he was named the 2010 NSCAA National High School Player of the Year.
Highlighted Team (FC Cincinnati):
FC Cincinnati will make their MLS debut in the 2019 season. Based in Ohio, the Orange and Blue are a team who is expected to play their home games at West End Stadium. However, seeing that the West End Stadium is still under construction, FC Cincinnati will welcome their rivals at Nippert Stadium at the start of the season.
The team’s home colors are orange and blue, whilst they wear white shirts and white shorts when playing on the travels. Justin Hoyte, who used to play for the likes of Arsenal and Middlesbrough in the Premier League is considered one of the team’s most famous footballers.
The Orange and Blue will make their MLS debut against Seattle Sounders, whilst they will play their first ever home game in the league against Portland Timbers. It has to be noted that FC Cincinnati has five supporters groups: Die Innestadt, The Legion, The Pride, Queen City and The Briogaid.
