Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
After suffering a heavy 4-0 loss to Benfica at Estadio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Maritimo will be looking to return to get back on course in the Primeira Liga when they take on Santa Clara at their Estadio dos Barreiros on Matchday 13. O Maior das Ilhas aim to put an end to their five-game winless run in the Primeira Liga and a victory over Santa Clara will see them move away from the relegation zone.
You should bear in mind that Maritimo did well to hold star-studded Porto to a draw in their penultimate home fixture. Os Acoreanos, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form in the Primeira Liga, with the team failing to win the last five league fixtures. Given their shaky defence, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing something from Saturday’s football game against Jose Gomes’ charges.
