Our prediction for this Premier League match:
St. Mary’s Stadium will host Saturday’s relegation six-pointer between Southampton and Watford. Southampton are on an eight-game winless run in the Premier League, with the team collecting only 9 points from possible 39. The Saints are desperate to get back on course, and the fact that they managed to hold Arsenal to a 2-2 draw at St. Mary’s Stadium is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the Watford clash.
The Saints did well to beat Norwich City 2-0 in their last away game in the national championship, but they failed to impress in a 3-0 home loss to Burnley. The rock-bottom side would be happy with one point from the relegation six-pointer, but we are tempted to put our money on the Saints, who produced a promising display in the 2-2 draw with Unai Emery’s troops at the weekend.
