Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Las Palmas and Espanyol take on each other at Estadio de Gran Canaria in what is expected to be a very exciting game. Los Amarillos have been struggling in front of goal of late, with the team failing to find the net in the previous three league fixtures, and it is no surprise they are seen as underdogs in Sunday’s clash. Since both Cedres and Castellano are sidelined with injuries, we do not believe that home win should be considered.
Los Periquitos, on the other hand, did well to beat Almeria 2-1 in the Segunda Division derby, with the team moving one step closer to securing automatic promotion to La Liga. The Catalans are undisputedly the team to beat in the 2020/21 La Liga 2 campaign, and given Raul De Tomas’ current form, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the league leaders.
Highlighted Player (Sergio Araujo):

Sergio Araujo was born in Buenos Aires on 28 January, 1992 and, as expected, he started playing for his home-town club Boca Juniors. He made just 19 appearances for Boca in the league and he played for the likes of Barcelona B, Tigre and Las Palmas on loan in the past as well.
The Argentine attacker scored 25 goals in 43 appearances for los Amarillos in the 2014/2015 Segunda Division campaign and despite the fact that he was linked with a move to Celtic and Real Sociedad, the club owners managed to sign a permanent deal with the former Boca Juniors footballer.
Araujo has three caps for Argentina U23 team and he represented la Albiceleste at the 2009 FIFA U17 World Cup. It has to be noted that he scored the winner for Argentina in the opening match of the tournament against Honduras. Araujo scored six goals in eight appearances for the Argentina U17 team. The pacey attacker has a contract with Las Palmas which expires on 30 June, 2020.
Highlighted Team (Espanyol):

Espanyol are a Catalan club that plays in Spanish La Liga. Espanyol were founded in 1900 and their original name was Sociedad Espanola de Football. In 1901 the Catalan club changed its name to Club Espanol de Futbol. Los Periquitos used to play in bright yellow shirts in the past, but current colour of the team’s home kit is blue and white.
Espanyol’s fiercest rivals are Barcelona and the two teams face each other in the Catalan derby (Derbi barceloni). Espanyol have always been in Barca’s shadow, but it has to be noted that los Periquitos have won four Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup trophies).
The likes of Raul Tamudo, Jose Maria, Antonio Argiles and Mauricio Pochettino are players with most appearances for the Catalan outfit. Espanyol play their home games at Estadio Cornella-El Prat and the capacity of the stadium is 40,500. Los Periquitos have never participated in the Champions League.
