Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Lugo and Sporting Gijon face each other in a highly-anticipated game at Estadio Anxo Carro. Lugo aim to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Zaragoza, and a win over Gijon will see them move a little closer to the playoffs berth. You should bear in mind that Mehdi Nafti’s men are eyeing their sixth home win of the season. Sporting Gijon, on the other hand, are eager to retain their spot in top six, meaning that a lively contest is on the cards on Monday evening.
Since both Lugo and Gijon are likely to go for a win, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. A man to watch in the away team will be former Partizan attacker Uros Djurdjevic, who scored his tenth goal of the season in a 1-1 draw with Leganes. In their last meeting at Estadio Anxo Carro Sporting Gijon recorded a 2-1 win over Lugo.
