Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Malaga and Las Palmas face each other in a highly-anticipated game at Estadio La Rosaleda on Matchday 5. Following back-to-back wins over Castellon and Alcorcon, los Boquerones suffered a heavy 4-0 loss at Rayo Vallecano, with the team dropping to ninth position in the standings. Malaga do not seem to be on top of their game ahead of the visit of Las Palmas, meaning that home win should not be considered.
Los Amarillos, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Logrones, and they managed to get one. Las Palmas returned to winning ways at the weekend, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence. Considering that Malaga experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the defeat in Madrid, we are tempted to put our money on the visitors. Alvaro Lemos is back from suspension for the visiting team, which is yet another reason why away win should be considered.
Highlighted Player (Jose Rodriguez):
Jose Rodriguez is a professional footballer who was born in Villajoyosa, Alicante on 16 December, 1994. Rodriguez started his senior career at Real Madrid B, playing 60 matches for Castilla between 2012 and 2014. He made his debut for Real Madrid on 1 December, 2012 in a 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid in the local derby.
Three days later Rodriguez became the youngest footballer ever to play for los Blancos in the Champions League as he came as a substitute in a 4-1 win over Ajax. He played for Deportivo La Coruna on loan in the 2014/2015 campaign and he joined Galatasaray at the end of the season. However, he made just 14 league appearances for the Turkish side and in 2016 he moved to Germany.
Rodriguez joined Mainz on 1 July, 2016 and his contract with the Bundesliga club expires on 30 June, 2020. His main position is central midfield, but he is capable of playing as both attacking midfielder and a right winger. Juan Rodriguez has six caps for Spain U21 team.

Las Palmas impressed in the 2015/2016 La liga campaign, with the team finishing the season in 11th place in the standings. However, it has to be noted that los Amarillos finished the 1968/1969 Primera Division campaign in second place in the table, 11 points behind Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Speaking of Copa del Rey, Las Palmas made it to the final of the Spanish Cup in 1978. Las Palmas eliminated Sporting Gijon in the semis (5-3), but Barcelona outplayed los Amarillos in the title game (3-1).
