Our prediction for this Taca de Portugal match:
Saturday’s Taca de Portugal game at Estadio Municipal de Arouca pits together Arouca and Vitoria Guimaraes, the two teams who meet in a competitive match for the first time since May 2017. Arouca have been in a fine form in Segunda Liga of late, with the team beating both Vizela and Feirense in the last two league fixtures.
The Segunda Liga side rolled over Estudantes Africanos 5-0 to set up a meeting with Guimaraes in the Taca de Portugal last 64, and we are positive that they are capable of making life difficult for the Primeira Liga team. Joao Henriques’ troops, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in their last game before the international break, with the team losing to Sporting CP 4-0. Since Arouca are tough to beat at home, we believe that punters can find value in betting on draw.
Highlighted Player (Pedro Henrique):

Pedro Henrique is a Brazilian defender who plays for Vitoria de Guimaraes in Primeira Liga. Born in Goiania on December 18, 1992, Pedrao is a product of Goias football school, but he made no more than one appearance for the Brazilian club before joining Cruzeiro-Poa.
Pedro Henrique played for the likes of Trindade and Aparecidense as well before joining Goias in the 2013/2014 season. In 2015 he moved to Portugal, signing a deal with Guimaraes where he established himself as a first-team regular.
Thanks to his brilliant performances Pedrao was given captaincy and it has to be noted that he scored his first goal for OS Vimaranenses on December 9, 2018 in a 3-2 win over Rio Ave. His main position in centre-back, but he is used as a left-back as well. His preferred foot is left and he has a contract with Guimaraes which is set to expire on June 30, 2022.
Highlighted Team (Guimaraes):

Vitoria Guimaraes have always been in the shadow of famous Portuguese sides Porto, Benfica and Sporting, but over the years they have established themselves as a top-table side in the Primeira Liga. Os Vimaranenses did well to win Taca de Portugal in the 2012/2013 season, wi the team beating Benfica in the final of the domestic cup.
Vitoria Guimaraes finished the 2016/2017 Primeira Liga campaign in fourth place in the standings and, as a result, they booked their place in the Europa League qualifiers. The Portuguese side will face the likes of Salzburg, Konyaspor and Olympic Marseille in Group I and they are seen as underdogs in their group. Vitoria Guimaraes welcome their rivals at Estadio D. Alfonso Henriques and the venue can hold up to 30.000 spectators.
Os Vimaranenses play their home games in white shirts and white shorts, whilst they wear black when playing on the road. Their neighbours Braga are considered Guimaraes’ fiercest rivals and the two teams face each other in the derby of Minho Province.
