Our prediction for this World Cup 2022 match:
Estadio Panamericano will host Wednesday’s World Cup qualifier between Montserrat and United States Virgin Islands, the two teams who meet for the second time on the international stage. Seven years ago Montserrat defeated Virgin Islands at the Caribbean Cup, and the hosts are once again seen as favourites to pick up all three points from the match. Maidenhead United midfielder Rohan Ince will be the man to watch in the home team.
Giberto Damiano’s troops, on the other hand, kicked off their World Cup qualifying campaign with back-to-back defeats to Antigua and Barbuda and Grenada. The underdogs have a big fish to fry in Wednesday’s clash as well, and they are unlikely to shock Montserrat at Estadio Panamericano. You should bear in mind that United States Virgin Islands failed to find the net in four of the previous five games in all competitions.
