Our prediction for this World Cup 2022 match:
Suriname will be looking to kick off their World Cup campaing in style when they take on Cayman Islands at Andre Kamperveen Stadion. A number of Netherlands star players came from Suriname, and, no doubt, there is a lot of talent in Dean Gorre’s team. The Suriboys are seen as favourites to win Wednesday’s qualifier, and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at the minnows.
Cayman Islands have not been in action since November 2019, and seeing that they were beating by Suriname in each of the previous two meetings between the two national teams, we are tempted to put our money on Dean Gorre’s troops. It has to be noted that no fewer than eleven players from Eredivisie have received call-ups for the Suriname national team. Union Berlin striker Sheraldo Becker is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts.
