Our prediction for this World Cup 2026 match:
Scotland will be aiming to cement second position in Group F when they take on rock-bottom Moldova at Stadionul Zimbru on Friday. The Scotts showed character at Faroe Islands, with Lyndon Dykes scoring the winner after 86 minutes. Steve Clarke’s men are eyeing their fifth consecutive win in Group F, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Moldovans. St Johnstone goalkeeper Zander Clark returns to the squad, with Stoke City winger Jacob Brown making the cut as well.
Both Ryan Christie and Lyndon Dykes miss the game through suspension. Moldova, on the other hand, have collected only one point in total from possible 24, and given their shaky defence, we predict that Steve Clarke’s troops are going to pick up vital three points from Friday’s qualifier. To make things even worse for the hosts, Olympiakos defender Oleg Reabciuk misses out through suspension.
