All eyes will be on Philips Stadion when PSV and AZ Alkmaar when the two teams face each other in the Eredivisie derby. PSV dropped a two-goal advantage in a 2-2 draw with Ajax at the weekend, but they once again proved their worth in the 2020/21 Eredivisie campaign. Top scorer Donyell Malen seemed tired in the second half of the Klassieker, but he should be fit to face AZ.
Zahavi, who replaced injured German star Gotze in the starting XI, should keep his place up front after scoring a brace in the Eredivisie derby. AZ, on the other hand, head into the match following back-to-back draws with Utrecht and Zwolle, and given PSV’s current form, we predict that the visitors are going to return home empty-handed. Both Svensson and de Wit are injured for the visitors, while van der Wacht is rated doubtful for the match.

Mario Gotze is a German midfielder, who played for Ronsberg and Eintrach Hombruch during his youth career before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2001. He made a great progress during his spell at the Borussia Dortmund’s youth academy and on 21 November, 2009 he made his Bundesliga debut for the Millionaires.
Gotze scored 22 goals in 83 league appearances for the club between 2009 and 2013 and he joined Borussia Dortmund’s bitterest rivals Bayern Munich on April, 2013. The German midfielder, who is capable of playing as a striker as well, failed to impress in the 2015/2016 Bundesliga campaign, but it has to be noted that he was struggling with injury at the start of the season.
Gotze won three Bundesliga trophies with Bayern Munich, but at the end of the 2015/2016 season he returned to Borussia Dortmund. In 2014 he represented Germany at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil and he scored the winner in the final against Argentina. Mario Gotze was born in Memmingen on 3 June, 1992.

The Cheeseheads were founded on 10 May, 1967 and they won their first trophy in 1981, finishing the season 12 points clear of Dutch giants Ajax. 18 years later AZ clinched their second Eredivisie trophy, with the team finishing the 2008/2009 campaign with 80 points, 11 clear of second-placed Twente.
