After suffering elimination in the FA Cup, Stevenage will be fully focused on the League Two in the remainder of the season. The Boro did well to beat both Cambridge United and Scunthorpe United in the previous two home games, and they are surely capable of matching Tranmere on home soil. Since Stevenage are eager to escape the danger zone, we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at the Super Whites.
Tranmere Rovers, on the other hand, aim to move a little closer to the League Two playoffs berth. The Super Whites, though, do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of Saturday’s clash, and we believe that punters can find value in betting on the Boro. Born in Alexandria, Scotland on June 15, 1987, Scott Cuthbert is a defender who plays for Stevenage in the League Two. Cuthbert is a product of the Celtic football academy, but he did not see any game action with the Hoops in the Scottish Premiership.
After ending his loan spells with Livingston and St. Mirren, the Scottish footballer joined Swindon Town in 2009 where he quickly established himself as a first-team regular. After scoring five goals in 80 appearances for the club, Scott Cuthbert moved to Leyton Orient before the start of the 2011/12 season.
After almost a five-year spell with the Brisbane Road outfit, the right-footed defender joined Stevenage in the summer of 2018, and he has been playing for the Posh ever since. He made his Stevenage debut in a 2-2 draw with Tranmere Rovers in the 2018/19 season opener. At the end of the campaign the Scottish footballer was named the club’s Player of the Year.

Tranmere were founded back in 1884 under the name of Belmont FC, with the football arms of cricket clubs Lyndhurst Wanderers and Belmont coming together. The club recorded their first win later in 1884 as they outclassed Brunswick Rovers 4-0.
Nowadays Tranmere Rovers play their home games at Prenton Park, the venue which can hold up to 15,567 people. The Rovers wear white shirts and blue shorts in home matches, but back in the 19th century orange and red were the dominating colours on their kit.
