Bristol Rovers and Rochdale go head to head at Memorial Stadium in the League One round 27. Bristol Rovers aim to put an end to their four-game winless run in the League One, but seeing that they failed to find the net in the previous two league fixtures, we are not tempted to put our money on the Pirates. Paul Tisdale’s charges are on a three-game losing run at home in all competitions. The Dale, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-3 defeat to Oxford United.
Brian Barry-Murphy’s men conceded 14 goals in total in the last five league matches. Since Bristol Rovers are desperate to get back on course in the League One, we are tempted to put our money on the Pirates. In the first half of the season the two sides played out a 1-1 draw at Spotland Stadium, but home win should be considered.

Mark Little is a right back who plays for Bristol City. Little started his youth career at Wolverhampton Wonderers and he made 27 appearances for the first team as well. He made his Wolves debut on 23 August, 2006 in the League Cup clash against Chesterfield.
After spending two years on loan at Northampton Town, Chesterfield and Peterborough United, he signed a permanent deal with Peterborough on 25 May, 2010. The defender scored three goals in 148 appearances for the ABAX Stadium outfit, but in 2014 turned down a new contract offer. Mark Little joined Bristol City on 1 July, 2014 and he has been playing for the Robins ever since.
The English footballer, who was born on 20 August, 1988 made 23 appearances for Bristol City in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign and he scored one goal for the club. His main position is right back, but he is capable of playing as midfielder as well.

Nicknamed the Dale, Rochdale are a professional English club that compete in the League One (English third tier). Rochdale were founded back in 1907, after World War I, with the team beating Accrington Stanley 6-3 in their first league game 14 years later.
The Dale wear blue shirts with black stripes and blue shorts when playing at home, whilst gray is the dominant colour of their away kit. Spotland Stadium is the club’s home ground, with the venue holding no more than 10,249 spectators. Bury and Oldham Athletic are considered the club’s fiercest rivals, but they have built up rivalries with the likes of Halifax Town, Burnley, Stockport County, Wigan Athletic and Accrington Stanley as well.
Back in 1962 Rochdale made it to the Football League Cup final, with the team facing Norwich City in the title game. The Canaries proved to be a big catch for the Dale, but this is still considered the club’s biggest success. It has to be noted that the Spotland Stadium outfit have three Lancashire Cup titles as well (1948/1949, 1970/1971, 2004/2005).
