Doncaster
Stadium of Light will host Saturday’s football game between Sunderland and Doncaster Rovers. The Black Cats aim to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Shrewsbury Town, and a win over the Donny should see them regain their place in top six. Sunderland are eyeing their fifth home win of the season, and given Doncaster’s shaky defence, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. Conor McLaughlin (injury) should be the only absentee in the home team.
Doncaster Rovers, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-1 loss to Fleetwood Town, with the team suffering their fourth away win of the season. In their last meeting at Stadium of Light the two teams played out a goalless draw, but we do not believe that Doncaster defenders are capable of preventing Sunderland attackers from scoring on Saturday as the Black Cats netted eight goals in total in the previous four games in all competitions.

Wighan Athletic striker Will Grigg became a viral sensation during the European Championship in France but the chances are any avid football fan will have been well aware of his goalscoring exploits even before 2016. The 27-year-old forward began his career at Stratford Town but it was in Walsall that the world took notice of his presence after 27 goals in 99 performances for the club.
He first came to prominence during the 2012/13 season when he was voted the club’s Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season, but a loan spell at Milton Keynes Dons during his rather unfortunate two-year spell over at Brentford proved crucial for his career.
The total of 20 goals in 44 appearances at Stadium MK was where Wigan Athletic noticed the Northern Ireland man and moved in to sign him on a three year contract for a £1 million fee in 2015. ‘Will Grigg’s on Fire’ was the hit song of the Euro 2016 even though the Northern Ireland striker ended up not getting a chance to make a bow in the tournament.

Based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, Doncaster Rovers are an English football club that compete in the League One. Keepmoat Stadium is the club’s home ground. The venue was opened on August 3, 2007 and it can hold up to 15,231 spectators.
Doncaster Rovers footballers wear white shirts with red stripes and white shorts when playing on home soil, whereas the club’s away colours are dark blue and red. Speaking of the Rovers’ history, the club was established back in 1879 by Alber Jenkins, who worked as a fitter at Doncaster’s Great Northern Railway.
