After sharing the spoils with Morecambe on Tuesday, Bolton will be looking to return to winning ways in the League Two when they take on Stevenate at their University of Bolton Stadium on Matchday 29. The Trotters will be without January signing Marcus Maddison in Saturday’s clash as he was sent off in the midweek game. It has to be noted that Bolton are eyeing their fifth home win of the season.
The Boro, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Tranmere. Stevenage are eyeing their third consecutive away win in the League Two, but beating Bolton on the road is easier said than done. The pacey right-back made only one appearance for the Toffees as he played against Krasnodar in the Europa League 2013/2014 season. Gethin Jones played for the likes of Plymouth Argyle (loan), Barnsley (loan), Fleetwood Town, and Mansfield Town (loan) as well before joining his current club Carlisle United. Jones is eligible to play for Australia and Wales despite playing for the Wales U17, U19, and U21 teams in the past.
He made his League Two debut with Carlisle United in a 3-2 win over Stevenage on September 14, 2019. Jones’ main position is right-back, but he is used as both right midfielder and left-back as well. His preferred foot is right.
