Coliseum Alfonso Perez will host Saturday’s football game between Getafe and Cadiz, the two teams who are almost level on points in the La Liga standings. Getafe have been playing below expectations in the 2020/21 season, and, as a result, they sit in the 15th place, only six points clear of the relegation zone. The capital club are eager to get back on course in the national championship, and we are positive that they will fight tooth and nail against Cadiz. Both Cucho and Cabaco are sidelined with injuries for the hosts, while Turkey international Unal has left the quarantine.
The Yellow Submarine head into the match following a controversial 2-1 win over Valencia where los Che defender Mouctar Diakhaby was racially insulted by Juan Cala. The experienced defender is likely to miss the game against his former club through suspension, while Lozano and Quezada remain in the recovery room. A central defender who can equally be deployed as a right-back, Djene Dakonam has emerged as one of the most influential Getafe players in the 2017/18 season. His road to prominence was a long one, however, and Djene had to bide his time in order to be recognized for quality he undoubtedly possesses. Dapaong-born Togolese international, Djene Dakonam made his first football steps as a youth member of Etoile Filante.
Spells in Benin and Cameroon with Tonnerre d’Abomey and Coton Sport, respectively, saw Djene Dakonam grab attention of Alcoron, who moved in to bring him to Spain in 2014. During two years in Spain Djene Dakonam made 59 league appearances before moving to Sint-Truidense. It was in Belgium that Djene Dakonam proved his defensive versatility and Getafe came calling the very next year, in 2017.
Djene proved to be an instant hit with the Azulones and is hoping a move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs will not be too far away for him. The likes of Arsenal and Tottenham have been sniffing around him during the summer transfer window in 2018 but were ultimately scared off by his £31 million release clause.

Cadiz is a professional La Liga club that plays home games at Estadio Ramon de Caranza. The capacity of the stadium is 20,724 people, and it was opened back in September 1955. El Submarino Amarillo are well known for their yellow shirts, with the team wearing blue jerseys when playing on the travels.
The club was founded back on Sepember 8, 1910, with the team facing local rivals Cadiz Sporting Club in their first ever official match. Cadiz currently compete in la liga, with the team securing promotion to the Spanish top flight at the end of the 2019/20 season following a 15-year absence. Cadiz are one of those teams who produce much better showings at home than on the travels. Magico Gonzales is the most notable Cadiz player.
