Sunday’s football game at Allianz Field pits together Minnesota United and Real Salt Lake. The Loons experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-0 loss to Seattle Sounders, and, no doubt, they are desperate to grab something from the Real Salt Lake clash. Mali international Bakaye Dibassy, who missed the Seattle game with injury, is unlikely to feature in Sunday’s clash. The Royals, on the other hand, are determined to kick off their 2021 MLS campaign in style.
Real Salt Lake, though, suffered four defeats in the previous five meetings with Minnesota at Allianz Field, which is the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. New signing Anderson Julio is widely expected to make his Real Salt Lake debut against Minnesota United. A man to watch in the home team will be Argentine midfielder Emanuel Reynoso, who is likely to pose a big threat to the opposition defenders.

Born in Metz, France on March 28. 1990, Romain Metanire is a defender, who plays for Minnesota United in the Major League Soccer. Metanire started his senior career at Metz and after playing for the likes of Kortrijk and Reims, he moved to United States of America.
The 178-cm tall footballer made his debut for the Loons on March 3, 2019 in a 3-2 win over Vancouver Whitecaps in the opening match of the season. Despite being born in France, Romain Metanire represents Madagascar on the international stage. He made his debut for the national team in a 2-2 draw with Senegal in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. His preferred foot is right and his main position is right-back.
Romain Metanire helped Reims secure automatic promotion to the Ligue 1 in the 2017/2018 season. Reims clinched top position in the Ligue 2 in style, 15 points clear Nimes, but the following season Metanire made only five appearances in the French elite division.

In 2013 Real Salt Lake made it to the MLS Cup final for the second time in the club’s history, but they were beaten by Sporting Kansas City on penalties this time out. The Royals participated in the CONCACAF Champions League final in 2011 as well, but Monterrey of Mexico eventually won the title. Real Salt Lake footballers wear red shirts and blue shorts when playing at home, while the colour of their away kit is white.
The likes of Clint Mathis, Jeff Cunningham and Eddie Pope are some of the notable footballers who played for the club in the past. Jeff Cunningham scored 19 goals in 32 appearances in the league for the Royals.
