Albacete
Las Palmas will be looking to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Sporting Gijon when they take on Albacete in the Segunda Division round 41. La Union Deportiva head into the season finale with the lack of motivation as they are stuck in the middle of the standings. Considering that head coach Pepe Mel is likely to rest several first-team regulars in Monday’s clash, we are not tempted to put our money on the home team.
El Queso Mecanico, on the other hand, played out a heart-breaking 1-1 draw with Lugo in midweek, which saw them drop to Segunda B. Even though the visitors are low on confidence ahead of the trip to the Canary Islands, we are tempted to put our money on draw as Las Palmas have nothing to play for in the penultimate game of the season. Albacete defender Fran Garcia is likely to miss the game through injury.

Born in Bilbao, Spain on March 13, 1988 Raul Fernandez is a 196-cm-tall goalkeeper who plays for La Liga side Levante. Fernandez played for the youth team of his home-town club Athletic Bilbao from 1998 to 2006 and he began his senior career at fellow Basque outfit Basconia. After making 29 appearances for the club in the 2006/2007 season Raul Fernandez returned to Athletic Bilbao in 2007 and it has to be noted that he played 19 games for the reserve team.
After spending the 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 seasons on loan at Conquense and Granada respectively the Spanish shoot-stopper started playing for Athletic Bilbao at senior level, but he made only five appearances for the Lions in La Liga.
In 2013 Raul Fernandez was loaned to Numancia and after ending his loan spell with los Rojillos he moved to Raving Santander. Nowadays the Basque footballer is a part of La Liga team Levante and you should know that he managed to keep 17 clean sheets in 33 appearances for los Levantinos in the 2016/2017 Segunda Division campaign.

Established during the World War II (August, 1940), Albacete are a Spanish club that welcome their rivals at Carlos Belmonte, the stadium with the capacity of 17,524 people. Albacete compete in Segunda Division nowadays, but during the 1990s they established themselves as the La Liga regular.
Their best ranking in the Spanish top flight came in the 1991/92 season when they finished the campaign in 7th position in the standings. El Queso Mecanico (Clockwork Cheese) have never represented Spain in European competitions. Legendary Spain international Andres Iniesta is the symbol of the club. Born in Albacete, Iniesta helped his hometown club avoid the bankruptcy in December 2011 as he became the club’s major shareholder.
