Our prediction for this World Cup 2026 match:
There will be fireworks when Panama and Dominican Republic face each other at Estadio Nacional de Panama in the 2022 World Cup qualifier. Panama aim to extend their winning run in Group D to four games, but the match against Dominican Republic will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. A man to watch in the home team will be Gabriel Torres, who scored a hat-trick in the crushing (13-0) of Angulla.
Dominican Republic, on the other hand, head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Barbados. Jacques Passy’s troops aim to overtake Panama in top position in Group D, but beating los Canelors on the road is easier said than done. Panama have been impressive in their qualifying group, and we predict that the hosts are going to keep their 100% record intact. Despite failing to convert a penalty in the draw with Barbados, Ronaldo Vazquez should continue to lead the line for the visitors.
