As expected, LASK defeated Vojvodina in Novi Sad in the Conference League round 3, first leg. The Austrians turned their dominance into the winning goal after 70 minutes, and, as a result, they are with one foot in the playoffs. LASK head coach Dominik Thalhammer is likely to stick to the 4-3-3 formation, with Alexander Schmidt up front as a lone forward.
Vojvodina, on the other hand, were more than fortunate to eliminate FK Panevezys in the second qualifying round, and it is no wonder they were beaten by LASK in front of home fans. The Serbian have been struggling to find their best form at the start of the season, and, taking everything into account, they are unlikely to spoil LASK’s party at Worthersee Stadion. To make things even worse for the visiting team, defender Luka Cucin is out of contention through suspension.

Alexander Schlager is an Austrian goalkeeper who plays for LASK in the Austrian Bundesliga. Schalger was born in Salzburg on February 1, 1996, starting his senior career in his hometown club FC Red Bull Salzburg. However, it has to be noted that he spent three years on loan at Lepzig, Grodig and Floridsdorfer before joining LASK Linz in 2017.
Over the years Alexander Schlager has established himself as a first-choice shoot-stopper at die Laskler, but he has yet to make his debut with the Austrian national team. His preferred foot is right and he has a contract with LASK until June 30, 2021. The Austrian goalkeeper made his debut with LASK in the Austrian top flight on May 27, 2018.
Alexander Schlager made 31 appearances for die Laskler in the 2019/2020 Austrian Bundesliga, keeping 13 clean sheets in the process. The 184-cm tall shoot-stopper helped LASK book their place in the 2019/2020 Europa League group stages as well.
