Rangers
Following a shocking loss to Dundee United, Rangers rolled over Dunfermline 5-0 in the League Cup at the weekend. The Gers now aim to return to winning ways in the Premiership as well, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at Ross County. Ryan Jack, who has been struggling with injury at the start of the season, is unlikely to feature in Saturday’s game.
Ross County, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-0 loss to Hibernian. The Staggies have yet to find the net in the new Premier League campaign, and given Rangers’ display in the crushing of Dunfermline, anything but a routine away win would be a big surprise. You should bear in mind that Rangers are eyeing their tenth consecutive win over Ross County in the Scottish top flight.

Born in Clydebank, Scotland on March 29, 1998, Ross Doohan is a talented goalkeeper who plays for Ross County on loan from Celtic. Doohan is a product of the Celtic football academy, but he has yet to see a game action with the Hoops in the Premiership.
The 186-cm tall shot-stopper played for the likes of Cumbernauld Colts, Greenock Morton, and Ayr United as well before signing a loan deal with Ross County. Ross Doohan made his Ross County debut in the Premier League in a goalless draw with Hibernian on October 17, 2020.
Speaking of his international career, the Ross County goalkeeper has 11 caps with the Scotland U21 team, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the senior team. He made his debut for the U21 team in a 1-1 draw with Togo U21 at the 2018 World Youth Festival in Toulon. His preferred foot is right.

Glasgow Rangers are one of the two synonyms for Scottish Football. Glasgow Rangers were founded back in 1872 and they have been playing an important role in the Scottish top flight ever since. The Gers won their 54th Scottish Premier League title in the 2010/2011 season, but winning of European Cup Winners’ Cup trophy in 1972 is considered the club’s biggest success.
Glasgow Rangers defeated Dynamo Moscow in the final of the competition, with the likes of Stein and Johnston (two goals) scoring for the Scottish side. Celtic are considered the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks when the two teams meet in the Old Firm derby. The likes of Paul Gascoigne, David Weir, Stefan Klos, Chris Boyd, Ian Durrant and Kenny Miller are some of Rangers’ former notable players.
It has to be noted that the Gers welcome their rivals at Ibrox Stadium, the venue with the capacity of 50,817. Rangers’ support is largely drawn from the Protestant Unionist community.
