Montenegro
After sharing the spoils with Norway, Netherlands will be aiming to regain top position in Group G when they host Montenegro to Phillips Stadion. The Oranje have yet to find their best form in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, but the bookies still see them as hot favourites to win Saturday’s match. Despite failing to find the net in the 1-1 draw with Norway, Memphis Depay will continue to lead the line for the hosts, while fit-again Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk should be deployed at the back alongside Stefan de Vrij.
Donyell Malen is widely expected to replace Steven Berghuis in the starting line-up. Montenegro, on the other hand, came from two goals behind to share the spoils with Turkey in their last qualifying match. However, we are tempted to put our money on the hosts as Montenegro key attacker Stevan Jovetic is sidelined through injury.

Memphis Depay is a Dutch winger who started his professional career at PSV Eindhoven. During the 2014/2015 Eredivisie campaign the pacey footballer was on Manchester United’s radar and on June 12, 2015 the Premier League club confirmed the signing of the Dutchman. Many people expected that he would impress in the 2015/2016 Premier League season, but the former PSV ace played below expectations for the Red Devils, scoring only two goals (one assist) during the season.
After playing only for league games for Man Utd in the 2016/2017 season, Memphis Depay was sold to Olympique Lyon on January 20, 2017. Depay signed a four-and-a-half year deal with les Gones for a fee of around £16 million. The Dutch winger was producing fine performances for Lyon in the 2016/2017 season; he scored five goals for the club, while providing eight assists for his teammates.
Memphis Depay made his senior debut for Netherlands on October 15, 2013 in a 2-0 win over Turkey. Depay did well to win the 2011 European Championship with Netherlands U17 team.

Montenegro is yet another former Yugoslavian republic. The Montenegrins declared their independence in 2006 and they played their first official match under the name of Montenegro in March, 2007. The Hrabri sokoli defeated Hungary in their first official game, with the team coming from behind to beat the Hungarians.
Serie A superstar Mirko Vucinic and Igor Burzanovic scored for Montenegro in the 2-1 triumph over Hungary. Montenegro national football team participated in the UEFA Euro 2012 playoffs and that is regarded as the team’s biggest success. The Hrabri sokoli faced Czech Republic in the double-header, but they eventually failed to book their place at the showpiece tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
Aforementioned attacker Mirko Vucinic is seen as one of the most famous footballers who played for the Montenegro national team, but we should mention former Manchester City ace Stevan Jovetic as well. Montenegro play their home games at Stadion Pod Goricom and they recorded their biggest win against San Marino (6-0) in September, 2012.
