Our prediction for this Championship match:
Coventry City will be aiming to make amends for a massive 5-0 loss to Luton when they take on Fulham on Matchday 11. The Sky Blues have been impressive at home ground this season, with the team winning each of their five home fixtures, but given their display in the midweek defeat, home win should not be considered. Head coach Mark Robins could opt to make changes to the starting XI, with all Rose, Sheaf, and Walker pushing for a start.
Defender Josh Eccles remains in the recovery room. The Cottagers, on the other hand, defeated Swansea City on Wednesday evening thanks to Aleksandar Mitrovic’s hat-trick. Fulham are determined to secure automatic promotion, and seeing that Coventry experienced all sorts of problems at the back in their last league match, we are tempted to put our money on the capital club. All Cairney, Carvalho, Kongolo, and Tete are out of contention with injuries for visitors.
Highlighted Player (Wesley Jobello):
Wesley Jobello is a Martiniquais professional footballer who plays for Coventry City in the English Football League One. He was born in Gennevilliers, France, on the 23rd of January 1994. The 26-year-old is a Marseille youth product, having featured for both the club's first team and the b-team over 50 times.
His debut appearance came as a substitute against Sochaux in Ligue 1 match on the 20th of May 2012. Apart from Marseille, his resume includes playing for teams Clermont Foot and Gazelec Ajaccio. He signed for Coventry City on the 30th of June 2019, on a three-year contract. Jobello has played ten games for the English outfit so far, providing a goal and an assist apiece in the process. Incidentally, Coventry marks his first time playing outside France.
On the International forefront, Jobello, initially a youth International for France, represented the nation at the under-18 level before switching to play for The Martinique national football team. His International career highlight is getting selected for Martinique's 40 man squad for the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Jobello is predominantly a left midfielder but is capable of playing on the right as well.
Highlighted Team (Fulham):
Fulham are a club from London that play in the Premier League. The capital club dropped to the English second tier at the end of the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign after failing to impress in the elite competition, but managed to return in season 2018/2019.
Fulham were founded in 1879 and they play their home matches at Craven Cottage. Fulham are the oldest-established club from the English capital to have played in the top flight.
Fulham finished the 2008/2009 Premier League campaign in seventh place in the standings and that is considered the team’s biggest success, speaking of their participation in the Premier League.
The Cottagers played in the Europa League twice and they did well to reach the FA Cup final in 1975, but they were beaten by their local rivals West Ham United in the title game (0-2). Chelsea are regarded as Fulham’s bitter rivals as well and the two teams take on each other in the North London derby.
