Buoyed by a 2-1 win over Crawley Town, Tranmere Rovers will look to climb to the playoffs berth when they host Colchester United to their Prenton Park. The Super Whites have been impressive at home ground of late, with the team eyeing their fifth consecutive win in front of home fans, but they will have to prove their worth on the field.
Veteran defender Peter Clarke, who scored a brace in the 2-1 win over Crawley, returns to the starting XI after he was rested in the EFL Trophy win over Salford City, as well as Calum MacDonald, who served his one-game ban against Forest Green. Colchester United, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to the Lions, and given their three-game winless run in the League Two, home win should be considered. Nowadays Liam Feeney plays for Tranmere Rovers in the League two on loan from Blackpool. His main position is right wing, but he is capable of producing fine displays as a left winger as well.
