Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
After holding HSV to a 1-1 draw with ten men on the field, Fortuna Dusseldorf will look give fans yet another reason for celebration when they take on Karlsruher at their Merkur Spiel-Arena. The first half of the season has been a mixed bag for die Fortunen, who sit in the 12th place in the standings ahead of the visit of Karlsruher. Edgar Prib is banned for the match, while both Andre Hoffmann and Schinta Appelkamp have been tested positive for coronavirus.
The likes of Dawid Kownacki and Emmanuel Iyoha are sidelined with injuries, as well as Thomas Pledl. The visitors, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Aue. Karlsruher, though, are not regarded as good travelers, and that is the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on draw. Marius Gersbeck is out of contention through suspension, while Robin Bormuth, Sebastian Jung, Paul Lohr, and Leon Jensen are injured.
Highlighted Player (Alfredo Morales):
Alfredo Morales is an American football player who was born in Berlin on 12 May, 1990. The USA midfielder moved to Germany as a boy and he played for the likes of BSC Reinickendorf 21, Borussia Pankow, FC Concordia Wilhelmsruh and Hertha BSC during his youth career.
Morales played 81 games for Hertha II at senior level, scoring 11 league goals for the capital club. He made 20 appearances for the first team as well, but in 2013 he joined Ingolstadt on a two-year deal. Alfredo Morales was eligible to play for both Germany and USA, but he decided to represent the Yanks on the international level.
The 183-cm-tall midfielder made his USA debut on 29 January, 2013 against Canada. He came as a substitute 15 minutes before the final whistle. It has to be noted that Morales represented United States of America at the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup. His main position is central midfield, but he is capable of playing as both centre back and a defensive midfielder.
