There will be fireworks when Rotherham United and Wycombe Wanderers face each other in the League One derby on Tuesday evening. The Millers are eyeing their fourth consecutive league win, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Jamie Lindsay remains in the recovery room, but he should be the only absentee in the home team.
The Chairboys, on the other hand, are on a five-game winning run in the League One, and seeing that they are high on spirits ahead of the midweek clash, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. Sam Vokes is widely expected to lead the line for the visitors despite the fact that Akinfenwa put an end to his seven-game goal drought at the weekend. Vokes returns to contention following the birth of his child.

Born in Harlow, England on September 28, 1992, Adam Thompson is a defender who plays for Bury in League One. Thompson started his youth career at Watford and after making 14 appearances for the Hornets at senior level, he moved to Southend United, signing a permanent deal with the club in January, 2014.
It has to be noted that he played for the likes of Brentford, Wycombe Wanderers and Barnet on loan as well before joining the Shakers. Adam Thompson has a short loan spell at Bradford City in the 2017/2018 season, but he made no more than nine appearances for the Bantams. Despite being born in England, Adam Thompson decided to represent Northern Ireland in international matches.
He made his debut with the Northern Ireland national team on February 9, 2011, coming from the bench in a 3-0 loss to Scotland. His main position is centre-back, but he is capable of producing fine showings at right-back as well.

Founded back in 1887, Wycombe Wanderers are one of the oldest clubs in the League One. The Chairboys are well known for their sky blue and dark blue shirts, but the colour of their away kit is orange combined with gun-metal gray.
Wycombe Wanderers host their rivals at Adams Park, a small stadium in Sands Industrial Estate which can hold up to 10,137 people. Milton Keynes Dons are seen as the club’s main rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the Buckinghamshire derby. Wycombe Wanderers made it to the FA Cup semis in the 2000/2001, with the team repeating the success in the League Cup six seasons later.
It has to be noted that the Chairboys have two FA Trophy titles (1991, 1993). Legendary midfielder Gareth Ainsworth is considered one of the club’s most famous players. Ainsworth scored 16 goals in 112 league appearances for Wycombe Rovers.
