Buoyed by a 2-0 win over Plzen in the Czech Republic 1. Liga derby, Slavia Prague will be aiming to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they take on Maccabi Haifa on Thursday evening. The Red and Whites are on a seven-game winning run at home in all competitions, and they are surely capable of beating Maccabi Haifa on home soil. All Boril, Dorley, Holes, Kudela, Provod, Hovorka, Tecl, and Schranz are sidelined with injuries.
The Israelis, on the other hand, did well to beat Slavia 1-0 at home two weeks ago, meaning that the Czechs are hungry for revenge. Considering that Maccabi Haifa are not regarded as good travelers, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the home team. After making 30 league appearances for the club, he move to Slavia Prague in 2018. It has to be noted that he played for Varnsdorf on loan as well during his spell with Liberec. The Czech shot-stopper has established himself as a first-team regular at Slavia Prague where he became the most expensive goalkeeper in the Czech First League history.
Speaking of his international career, the 193-cm-tall goalkeeper made his debut for the national team on November 17, 2019 in the Euro 2020 qualifying match against Bulgaria. His preferred foot is right, and he wears the No. 1 jersey at Slavia Prague. His contract with the capital club should expire in June 2022.
