Finland
A place in the 2022 World Cup playoffs will be at stake when Bosnia and Finland face each other at Bilino Polje on Friday evening. The Dragons are not enjoying a WC qualifying campaign to remember, but a win over Finland will see them overtake Ukraine in second place in the standings. The good news for the hosts is that important midfielder Miralem Pjanic returns to the squad, as well as Milan man Rade Krunic. Inter attacker Edin Dzeko is widely expected to lead the line for the Balkan Dragons.
The Finns, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-0 win over Kazakhstan, but beating Bosnia in Zenica is easier said than done. Bilino Polje will be packed this time out, and seeing that the Dragons boss Ivaylo Petev can count on key players for Friday’s qualifier, home win should be considered. Joel Pohjanpalo has overcome his injury, while Temmu Pukki will be the man to watch in the away team.

Rade Krunic is a product of Sutjeska Foca youth football school. The Bosnia international was born in Foca on October 7, 1993 and 19 years later he made his senior debut with his hometown club Sutjeska.
After scoring three goals in 15 appearances for the Bosnian club, the Bosnian midfielder moved to Serbian side Donji Srem in 2013. In 2014 he signed a contract with Italian side Hellas Verona, but he was immediately loaned back to Donji Srem. In 2015 Rade Krunic made 13 appearances for Serbian side Borac Cacak before joining yet another Italian team Empoli.
He has been playing for the Azzurri ever since and it has to be noted that he scored his first goal for the Serie A side in a 2-0 win over Genoa in October, 2015. Speaking of his international career, Krunic made his Bosnia and Herzegovina debut in a friendly against Denmark on June 3, 2016. He has 8 caps for Bosnia and Herzegovina U21 team as well.

Finland national football team played their first international game before the World War 1. The Finns were beaten by fellow Nordic side Sweden (2-5) on October 22, 1911, but eleven years later they recorded their biggest ever win on the international stage.
Finland outclassed Estonia 10-2 in Helsinki and, speaking of their heaviest defeat, the team suffered a 13-0 loss to Germany in Leipzig during the World War II (1940). Finland national team became a member of FIFA back in 1908, but they have yet to qualify for the finals of the major tournament. The Finns did not participate in the European Championship finals as well, but several top-class footballers were part of their national football team in the past.
Former Liverpool ace Jari Litmanen scored 32 goals in 137 appearances for Finland and Sami Hyypia is yet another notable footballer who played for the Eagle-owls. The colour of Finland’s home kits is white, while they play their away games in blue shirts and blue shorts.
