All eyes will be on the Valley when Charlton Athletic and Ipswich Town face each other in a highly-anticipated League One game. The Red Robins have been having their ups and downs in the first half of the season, and they head into the match following the FA Cup win (2-0) over Gateshead. The capital club are on a three-game winning run at home in all competitions, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Ipswich. Both Ronnie Schwartz and Ryan Innis are sidelined with injuries, while goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray is likely to return between the sticks.
The Tractor Boys, on the other hand, played out a slim goalless draw with Barrow in the FA Cup. Jake quickly established himself as a first-team regular at the capital club, scoring 5 goals in 43 appearances in the 2017/2018 League One campaign.
However, he was out of contention for most of the 2018/2019 season with a serious knee injury. His main position is central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both defensive and left midfielder as well.
