Estadio San Mames will host Sunday’s football game between Athletic Club and Real Betis. The Lions aim to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Sevilla, with the team eyeing their first league win since October 23. Athletic failed to win the previous three home games, but this seems like an ideal opportunity for the Basques to get back on course as Real Betis suit them. You should bear in mind that the Lions defeated los Beticos in each of their last seven meetings at San Mames in La Liga.
All Asier Villalibre, Daniel Vivian, Peru Nolaskoain, and Yuri Berchiche should miss out with injuries for the home team. Iker Muniain was once considered one of the most talented players in Spain, but he obviously failed to reach his full potential. Munian is an attacking midfielder, who is capable of playing as a forward as well and he began his youth career at Chantrea. However, he returned to action on 20 December, but he was playing below expectations in the second half of the season. Iker Munian made his Spain debut on 29 February, 2012 in a friendly against Venezuela. La Roja won the match 5-0 and Munian came as a substitute in the 74th minute of the match.
