Wigan
Wigan Athletic will look to build on back-to-back wins over Oxford United and Doncaster Rovers when they take on Morecambe at the Mazuma Stadium. The Latics are on a four-match winning run in all competitions, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Both Jordan Causins and Scott Smith are out of contention with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the away team.
The hosts, on the other hand, head into the match following a goalless draw with AFC Wimbledon. Morecambe are eager to escape the danger zone, but given Wigan’s fine form, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the promotion-chasing visitors. Scott Wootton’s primary position is a centre-back, but he is capable of producing fine performances at right-back as well. The 188-cm tall defender, whose preferred foot is right, has three caps for the England U17 team. Scott Wootton was born in Birkenhead, England, on September 12, 1991.
