Our prediction for this Championship match:
Ewood Park will host Saturday’s football game between Blackburn Rovers and Millwall, the two teams who sit in the opposite halves of the table. The Riversiders aim to put an end to their four-game winless run, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Lions. All Tayo Edun, Ian Poveda, and Bradley Dack remain in the recovery room, but there are no suspended players in the home team ahead of the visit of Millwall.
The capital club, on the other hand, did well to beat both Cardiff City and Queens Park Rangers in the previous two home games, but given their anything but good away record, we are tempted to put our money on Tony Mowbray’s troops. All Benik Afobe, Sheyi Ojo, Tom Bradshaw, Daniel Ballard, and Ryan Leonard should miss out with injuries for the visiting team.
Highlighted Player (Bradley Dack):
Born in Greenwich, England on December 31, 1993, Bradley Dack is a midfielder who plays for Blackburn Rovers in the Championship. Bradley Dack began his youth career at Charlton Athletic back in 2005 and five years later he moved to Corinthian. However, the English footballer started his senior career at Gillingham, making his league debut against Bradford City on August 18, 2012. 20 days later he scored his first senior goal as he found the net in Football League trophy clash against Crawley Town.
Before joining Blackburn Rovers on June 27, 2017 Bradley Dack played four games on loan for Braintree Town, scoring one goal in those league games. His main position is attacking midfielder, but he is used as both right and left midfielder as well. Dack once described himself as “free role behind two strikers”.
The Blackburn Rovers midfielder often finds the net and it has to be noted that he scored 16 goals in 36 appearances for the Riversiders in the 2017/2018 League One campaign.
Highlighted Team (Millwall):
Based in Bermonsdey, South East London, Millwall are a football club whose supporters have often been associated with hooliganism. West Ham United are considered the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in clashes between the two teams.
The Lions share rivalry with Charlton as well and the two teams first met back in 1921. The Den is Milwall’s home ground at the capacity of the stadium, which was opened in 1993, is 20.146.
The capital club did well to make it to the 2003/2004 FA Cup final, but Premier League giants Manchester United proved to be a big catch for the Lions. The Red Devils won the game 3-0, but despite suffering the heavy loss in the title game, Milwall booked their place in the UEFA Cup. However, Ferencvaros of Hungary proved to be a big catch for the English outfit in the two-legged tie.
Australia international Tim Cahill is considered one of the most notable footballers who whore Millwall shirt (1998-2004).
