Our prediction for this Championship match:
All eyes will be on Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium when Queens Park Rangers and Hull City in the Championship round 33. The Hoops were beaten by both Barnsley and Millwall in the previous two away games, but they are surely capable of matching the Tigers on home soil. Lee Wallace, who limped off with injury in the midweek loss, is unlikely to feature against Hull City, while Jordan Archer and Sam McCallum remain in the recovery room.
The Tigers do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of the trip to London, and seeing that they collected only one point in total from the previous four league fixtures, home win should be considered. Defender Lewie Coyle has joined the likes of Andy Cannon, Josh Emmanuel, and Mallik Wilks in the recovery room, but there are no suspended players in the away side.
Highlighted Player (Jordan Archer):
Jordan Archer is an English goalkeeper who plays for Millwall in the Championship. Archer started his career in the youth team of Charlton Athletic and he moved to Tottenham Hotspur football academy in 2009. However, he did not see a first-team football at White Hart Lane as he was inmeditely sent on loan to Harrow Bourough (2011).
After ending his loan spells with the likes of Bishop’s Storford, Wycombe Wanderers and Northampton he signed a loan deal with Millwall in 2015 and he was soon offered a permanent contract with the capital club. Jordan Archer made 39 appearances for the Lions in the 2016/2017 League One campaign and it has to be noted that he managed to keep 11 clean sheets n the process.
Millwall secured promotion to the Championship at the end of the season as they defeated Bradford City in the final of the League One play-offs. Jordan Archer was born in Walthamstow, England on April 12, 1993.
Highlighted Team (Hull City):
Hull City are a professional football club that was founded back in 1904. The Tigers used to play their home games at Boothferry Park, but they moved to the KC Stadium in 2002. The stadium capacity is 24,450.
Hull impressed in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign and, as a result, they returned to the English Premier League. Hull City fans consider Leeds United their main rivals, but Sheffield United are regarded as Hull’s fierce rivals as well. Steve Bruce took over the reins at the club in 2012 and the experienced tactician helped the team book a place in the 2013/2014 FA Cup final, but Arsenal proved to be a big catch for the Tigers in the title decider.
Hull City finished the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign in 16th place in the standings to achieve their highest ever top flight finish. It has to be noted that Curtis Davies was named the team’s player of the year in the 2013/2014 season.
