Reading will be aiming to build on a 3-2 win over Preston when they face Birmingham City at Select Car Leasing Stadium on Matchday 34. The Royals did well to regain a much-needed confidence at the weekend, but they need to keep on making progress if they are to avoid the drop. A man to watch in the home team will be fit-again attacker Lucas Joao, who scored a brace in the Deepdale triumph, while the likes of Laurent, Ejaria, Halilovic, Azeez, Tetek, Dann, and Araruna remain in the recovery room.
The Blues, on the other hand, are safe for now as they are 16 points clear of the relegation zone. Considering that Reading want this win more than Birmingham, we predict that the visitors will return home empty-handed. All Taylor Richards, Matija Sarkic, Troy Deeney, and Adan George are injured for the away side.

Junior Hoilett began his youth career at Blackburn Rovers and he spent five years at Ewood Park. After ending his loan spells with German sides Paderborn and St. Pauli Junior Hoilett returned to Blackburn Rovers and it has to be noted that he scored his first goal for the Riversiders in a pre-season friendly against Leigh Genesis.
