Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Sunday’s game between Koln and Hoffenheim will bring down the curtain on day 25 of the current Bundesliga campaign. Koln head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Greuther Furth, and a win over Hoffenheim will see them move closer to the Europa League berth. Jannes-Kilian Horn should be fit for the match after recovering from illness. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
Hoffenheim, on the other hand, continue with their old habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels. Sebastian Hoeness’ troops have already suffered six defeats on the road this term, and we do not believe that they are capable of grabbing something from the RheinEnergieStadion clash. To make things even worse for the visitors, their injury list is pretty long. Keep in mind, though, that Koln are eyeing their first win over Hoffenheim since April 2015.
Highlighted Player (Jonas Hector):
Jonas Hector is a product of Koln’s youth school. The left back was born on 27 May, 1990 in Saarbrucken and he began his youth career at SV Auersmacher. Ever since he made his debut for the senior team on 27 August, 2012 he has been playing regularly for the Billy Goats and he certainly helped the team return to Bundesliga at the end of the 2013/2014 campaign.
Jonas Hector made his Germany debut on 14 November, 2014 in a 4-0 win over Gibraltar. The left-footed defender scored his first goal for the German national team on 29 March, 2016 in a 4-1 victory over Italy in Munich.
