Our prediction for this Championship match:
All eyes will be on Ewood Park when Blackburn Rovers and Queens Park Rangers face each other in the opening match of the season. The Riversiders finished the last season just below the playoffs berth, and, no doubt, the club’s main goal is to secure a top-six finish this time out. The club chiefs, though, have been anything but active in the summer transfer window, with Ethan Walker and Callum Brittain being the only two players to join the Riverside Stadium outfit. However, the club management did well to keep hold of key attacker Ben Brereton, who is likely to prove a handful for the opposition back-line.
The Hoops, on the other hand, were having their ups and downs in pre-season, with the team beating both Zwickau and Wealdstone, losing to Palace, while sharing the spoils with both Crawley Town and Hallescher. New signings Taylor Richards, Tyler Roberts, Kenneth Paal, and Jake Clarke-Salter are eyeing their QPR debuts in the Championship, while Charlie Austin, David Marshall, Dominic Ball, Moses Odubajo, and Jordy de Wijs have left the club. Anyhow, given QPR’s attacking potential, both teams to score betting option should be considered.
