Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
After playing out a goalless draw with Makedonija SP in the first leg, CSKA Sofia will look to give fans some cheer when they take on the North Macedonia outfit at Stadion Balgarska Armija. The Bulgarians have been playing some low-scoring games at the start of the season, and they are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence in Thursday’s clash. Talented forward Asen Donchev could be recalled to the starting XI after scoring the winner as a substitute in a 1-0 triumph over Cherno More.
Makedonija GP, on the other hand, have yet to kick off the new domestic campaign, which is probably the main reason why we are not tempted to put our money on the underdogs. Since CSKA Sofia have turned their stadium into a real fortress, we predict that the visitors are going to return to Skopje empty-handed. Keep in mind that midfielder Matheus Lamos is banned for the visitors.
