Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
After outplaying Rijeka in the Conference League second qualifying round, Djurgarden will look to move one step closer to making it to the group stages when they face Sepsi in Sfantu Gheorghe on Thursday evening. The Swedes played above expectations in the double-header with Rijeka, and, as a result, the bookies see them as favourites to win the first leg. Hampus Finndell is back from the domestic ban, while Elliot Kack remains on the sidelines with injury.
Sepsi, on the other hand, eliminated Olimpija Ljubljana on penalties to set up a meeting with Djurgarden, but the Romanians will have a much bigger fish to fry in the upcoming double-header. Even though Sepsi boss Cristiano Bergodi has no fresh injury worries, we are tempted to put our money on the visiting side. This will be the first meeting between the two teams in European competitions.
