Our prediction for this Championship match:
Middlesbrough welcome Birmingham City to their Riverside Stadium on day 13 of the new Championship campaign. The Boro aim to put an end to their three-game winless run, and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at the Blues. Defender Darragh Lenihan remains on the sidelines with an ankle problem, but he should be the only absentee in the home team.
Birmingham City, on the other hand, have been climbing the standings week by week. Since the Blues are undefeated in the previous four league fixtures, we believe that they are capable of holding Middlesbrough to a draw at Riverside Stadium. Trio Przemyslaw Placheta – Nico Gordon – Harlee Dean is injured, but there are no suspended players in the away team. You should know that under 2.5 goals have been netted in four of their last five meetings in the English second tier.
