Atletico Madrid play host to Club Brugge at their Estadio Wanda Metropolitano in the Champions League round 4. Los Rojiblancos failed to impress in a 2-0 loss at Jan Breydel Stadion, but it is well known that Diego Simeone’s men produce much better showings at home than on the travels. Atletico Madrid proved their worth in a 2-1 win over Girona, and the bookies see them as favourites to beat the Belgian champions as well.
Angel Correa should keep his place in the starting XI after finding the net in the last league match, while all Felipe, Llorente, and Reguilon remain on the sidelines with injuries. The Blauw-Zwart, on the other hand, aim to retain top position in Group B, but seeing that Atletico Madrid have turned their stadium into a real fortress, we predict that the visitors will return to Belgium empty-handed.
